About Victorville

The biggest single employer in Victorville is the Southern California Logistics Airport, giving jobs to more than 2073 people as of 2009. Victor Valley College, the Desert Valley Hospital, and Verizon are other major employers, but this is a smaller town with a smaller workforce. Very much impacted by the Great Recession of the mid-2000s, things haven’t bounced back for much of San Bernardino County in the decade since the biggest collapse. The economic prospects for this part of California are improving, just not as quickly as most people would have liked.
