Bad credit title loans in Broadland, SD.

A title loan is a great solution for fast cash, but it is not the only option. Payday loans are often considered alongside title loans but are only offered in small amounts (usually up to $500) and require either a post-dated check or pre-authorization for a debit from your bank account. A cash advance is another quick option, but typically carries a high-interest rate and other fees.

Unlike title loans (which require your vehicle as collateral), bank loans can be secured or unsecured, meaning they may not require collateral. In the case of an unsecured loan, your credit history will be the primary factor in your approval and interest rate. Since a title loan is a secured loan, your credit history will not be the primary focus during the approval process and can be one of the best options for those with bad credit or past bankruptcies.

Pay how and when you want.

Working with Titlelo will fast-track you to a lender with the loan that works best for you. Most Broadland title loan lenders will provide options to make payments online or by phone, and some lenders will have a physical location. Even without a bank account, you can still pay some lenders with a money transfer (i.e., Western Union or Moneygram).

Want to make early payments? Great! We can also make sure we get you paired with a lender that does not charge prepayment fees.

Since you do not have to commit to a title lender before receiving a quote, you can consider your options and use Titlelo's experts for guidance. A lender with a competitive rate may not offer the flexibility you need, but starting the process over can be daunting. Titlelo compares lenders, rates, and payment options upfront so you can work with a company that lets you pay how you want.

Competitive interest rates for everyone in Broadland.

A secured loan, like Broadland title loans, is a great option to keep interest rates low, especially for people who may not have the best credit score. An unsecured loan relies on a person's credit history to determine their interest rate, so low credit will often equal a high rate. Since auto title loans are secured by your vehicle, the lender incurs less risk and can then offer lower rates to these applicants (without a credit check).

Even though secured loans usually have lower interest rates, that still doesn't guarantee a competitive rate for your loan. Titlelo works with multiple lenders to ensure you get the very best rates available and loan amounts are based on the value of your vehicle, rather than your credit history. Within seconds, you can be pre-approved for a title loan by entering basic information about yourself and your car.

Kiss your money problems goodbye.

Making ends meet is hard enough. What happens when you just can't do it? Both unexpected expenses and planned events, like holidays, birthdays, and back-to-school can all throw a budget off just enough to put a bill (or bills) in jeopardy. A short-term loan can provide you with the money you need to keep your bills current while addressing your additional expenses.

When you need cash, but do not want to open a new line of credit, a title loan can be the perfect solution. Your loan amount will depend on the value of your car, which will be determined by an inspection by the lender you choose. Titlelo helps you compare lenders and select the one with the best rate and options for you.

Flexible loan terms that are right for you.

Car title loans are short-term loans that are typically paid off within one month, though this does not have to be the case. Finding flexibility for this among lenders can be a challenge, and many also charge fees for early payments. Applying for a loan through Titlelo enables you to locate the lenders that offer the flexibility you need quickly.

Titlelo makes sure you work with a lender that works with you. We work mostly with lenders that do not charge prepayment fees, placing more control in your hands. Payments for title loans can be extended beyond one month, and we can find a lender who will provide this option at a competitive rate.

South Dakota title loan laws

Title loans in South Dakota are legal. However, there are no regulations on the amount that a borrower can ask for in exchange for the vehicle title. As of the moment, there is also no cap on the interest rates for title loans. This means lenders can charge whatever interest rate the company deems fit.

Requirements:

Borrowers in Broadland must be at least 18 years old. The borrower must supply basic personal information like the full name, current address, and zip code. Details about the vehicle, like the VIN, make, model and mileage, are also required. The lender has the right to inspect the car before setting up the loan agreement.

Loan Extensions:

Title loans in Broadland, SD can be renewed for up to four times. This means if the borrower wasn’t able to repay the principal loan amount plus interest on the loan’s maturity date, extensions are available.

After the fourth renewal, in some circumstances, the lender can either offer four more renewals or declare a default. If the borrower chooses to renew the agreement, at least 10% of the original principal loan amount plus the finance charges that are due must be paid off.

Repossessions:

If the borrower fails to repay the loan on its maturity date, the lender can seize the vehicle. Under the South Dakota laws, the lender is not obligated to notify the borrower before the repossession of the car takes place. However, the lender is required to send a notice via mail explaining how the borrower can retrieve the vehicle. The borrower has the right to get the car back only if all the unpaid dues are settled.

If the lender is to auction the repossessed car, the borrower will be informed through mail. If no settlement is made before the sale, the lender can sell the vehicle to anyone. Proceeds from the sale will be directed to paying off the loan. The borrower will receive the remaining balance if there’s any. Note that even if the borrower files for bankruptcy, the vehicle can still be repossessed.
