The lender will complete an inspection of your vehicle to finalize the amount of your loan and process it for final approval.

Keep your car while you pay your loan.

Getting cash for your title in Fairfax is a great way to keep "business as usual" while working to support all of your expenses. Even though your car is used as collateral for your loan, you never relinquish possession of it. This is not the case with auto pawn loans, which do require possession of your vehicle while using it as collateral on your loan.

Your mode of transportation is crucial to both your quality of life and financial success. With a title loan, you can continue driving to work and school, pick up and drop off kids, and run errands while managing your loan payments.

Depending on your desired loan amount and preferred payment schedule, you could have the loan paid off within one month. Some may need a little longer, and in those cases, it is even more necessary to retain access to a vehicle while earning income to manage expenses. Whether you wish to pay the loan off quickly or in installments, Titlelo can find a lender with a payment option that’s right for you.

Fast cash for any car in Fairfax.

If you have researched title loans before, you know there can be strict requirements for the vehicle: mileage, equity, and age. Many lenders will not consider a car that is more than ten years old, but cars retain value for most of their lives. Titlelo works hard to select quality lenders near Fairfax that have different requirements and loan processes for this very reason. Even if you have an older model, we can still match you with a lender that offers competitive rates without disqualifying your vehicle for age.

Lenders in South Dakota may also require additional documentation, such as the title of the vehicle, proof of registration and proof of insurance (but not always). The loan amount will be based on the actual value of the car as determined by the lender's inspection.

Titlelo is on your side.

We work for you, not a lender. Titlelo offers customized solutions for people who need a loan fast. Rather than telling you what options you have, we listen to your needs and provide recommendations based on the lenders that offer what you want. You never have to worry about finding the best rate: we do all the searching for you and narrow your options down to only the most competitive lenders. Titlelo will strive to find a lender that matches your requirements.

Since we work with so many different lenders, we can offer solutions to people in every financial situation. If you have applied for a title loan in Fairfax the past and have been denied, don't be discouraged. There are plenty of lenders that Titlelo can work with to approve your loan.

Employment is not necessary for Fairfax title loans.

Unlike most installment loans and many short-term loans, you do not have to be actively employed to receive a title loan. Lenders will request documentation proving a source of income, but this can include proof of any of the following:

  • Disability or Social Security
  • Child Support or Alimony
  • Unemployment or Self-Employment

Proof of income will not be necessary to pre-qualify you for a title loan Fairfax, South Dakota. If you are not sure whether you have the proper documentation, you can still receive instant pre-approval online or over the phone with just your contact and vehicle information. We will be able to answer any and all questions you have about the loan process, documentation, or fund disbursement.

South Dakota title loan laws

Title loans in South Dakota are legal. However, there are no regulations on the amount that a borrower can ask for in exchange for the vehicle title. As of the moment, there is also no cap on the interest rates for title loans. This means lenders can charge whatever interest rate the company deems fit.

Requirements:

Borrowers in Fairfax must be at least 18 years old. The borrower must supply basic personal information like the full name, current address, and zip code. Details about the vehicle, like the VIN, make, model and mileage, are also required. The lender has the right to inspect the car before setting up the loan agreement.

Loan Extensions:

Title loans in Fairfax, SD can be renewed for up to four times. This means if the borrower wasn’t able to repay the principal loan amount plus interest on the loan’s maturity date, extensions are available.

After the fourth renewal, in some circumstances, the lender can either offer four more renewals or declare a default. If the borrower chooses to renew the agreement, at least 10% of the original principal loan amount plus the finance charges that are due must be paid off.

Repossessions:

If the borrower fails to repay the loan on its maturity date, the lender can seize the vehicle. Under the South Dakota laws, the lender is not obligated to notify the borrower before the repossession of the car takes place. However, the lender is required to send a notice via mail explaining how the borrower can retrieve the vehicle. The borrower has the right to get the car back only if all the unpaid dues are settled.

If the lender is to auction the repossessed car, the borrower will be informed through mail. If no settlement is made before the sale, the lender can sell the vehicle to anyone. Proceeds from the sale will be directed to paying off the loan. The borrower will receive the remaining balance if there’s any. Note that even if the borrower files for bankruptcy, the vehicle can still be repossessed.
