Bad credit title loans in Fort Worth, TX.

A title loan is a great solution for fast cash, but it is not the only option. Payday loans are often considered alongside title loans but are only offered in small amounts (usually up to $500) and require either a post-dated check or pre-authorization for a debit from your bank account. A cash advance is another quick option, but typically carries a high-interest rate and other fees.

Unlike title loans (which require your vehicle as collateral), bank loans can be secured or unsecured, meaning they may not require collateral. In the case of an unsecured loan, your credit history will be the primary factor in your approval and interest rate. Since a title loan is a secured loan, your credit history will not be the primary focus during the approval process and can be one of the best options for those with bad credit or past bankruptcies.

Pay how and when you want.

Working with Titlelo will fast-track you to a lender with the loan that works best for you. Most Fort Worth title loan lenders will provide options to make payments online or by phone, and some lenders will have a physical location. Even without a bank account, you can still pay some lenders with a money transfer (i.e., Western Union or Moneygram).

Want to make early payments? Great! We can also make sure we get you paired with a lender that does not charge prepayment fees.

Since you do not have to commit to a title lender before receiving a quote, you can consider your options and use Titlelo's experts for guidance. A lender with a competitive rate may not offer the flexibility you need, but starting the process over can be daunting. Titlelo compares lenders, rates, and payment options upfront so you can work with a company that lets you pay how you want.

Keep your car while you pay your loan.

Getting cash for your title in Fort Worth is a great way to keep "business as usual" while working to support all of your expenses. Even though your car is used as collateral for your loan, you never relinquish possession of it. This is not the case with auto pawn loans, which do require possession of your vehicle while using it as collateral on your loan.

Your mode of transportation is crucial to both your quality of life and financial success. With a title loan, you can continue driving to work and school, pick up and drop off kids, and run errands while managing your loan payments.

Depending on your desired loan amount and preferred payment schedule, you could have the loan paid off within one month. Some may need a little longer, and in those cases, it is even more necessary to retain access to a vehicle while earning income to manage expenses. Whether you wish to pay the loan off quickly or in installments, Titlelo can find a lender with a payment option that’s right for you.

No extra fees for early payment.

When consumers compare loans, interest rates are usually front and center. Choosing a loan with the best rate is so complicated that there are entire companies (like Titlelo) designed to solve this problem alone. On top of the interest, processing and penalty fees vary widely from lender to lender, and these charges can really add up. Titlelo strives to work with companies that have the most reasonable fees and highlights lenders that do not charge prepayment fees.

Not every lender offers flexible payment options or schedules, but Titlelo works to narrow down your search quickly. Rather than comparing each lender you can find in a web search, fill out a quick application (online or over the phone) and get instant pre-approval. Titlelo works mostly with lenders who do not charge prepayment fees, but if this is an important feature for you, let us know, and we will be sure to find you a loan without these additional charges.

The new way of borrowing money online.

Online loan processing has revolutionized the way consumers can manage their expenses. Rather than waiting in line at a bank and then days (if not weeks) for processing, with a title loan, you can receive pre-approval instantly and have cash in hand the same day.

Even with a broker, you could still face wait times of several days before receiving your loan disbursement. Fortunately, Titlelo works with numerous companies that provide far more options, lenders, and expertise than other brokers. Typically, time is critical for all title loan recipients, but if your situation is especially urgent, Titlelo will select a lender that provides immediate processing.

Texas title loan laws

Texas title loan laws do not have any cap imposed on the amount of money being loaned. However, the interest rate that the lender applies cannot exceed 10%.

Loan providers are registered as Credit Access Businesses (CAB) and act as the broker between borrowers and third-party lenders. These storefronts are allowed to add fees to cover any costs they incur while the loan is being arranged and guaranteed. Meanwhile, the third-party lender can charge interest rates below the 10% cap because of these additional fees. These additional fees have no cap because they follow CAB guidelines, and not title loan guidelines.

Requirements:

As with any other state, obtaining a title loan in Fort Worth, TX require the borrower to be at least 18 years of age and must have a valid government-issued ID as proof of identity. The lender may also ask for proof of employment or income, as well as proof of registration and the vehicle’s title.

Loan Extensions:

Unlike other cities, a single term for a title loan in Fort Worth can reach up to 180 days. Should the borrower fail to pay within this time frame, the loan can be extended by 30 days as long as the interest and fees are paid. The borrower is allowed to extend his loan up to five times. If these five 30-day periods have been used, the borrower should pay the entire loan in full. Otherwise, the lender may repossess the vehicle.

Repossessions:

Under Texas law, the lender can repossess the vehicle the moment the borrower fails to pay on time. The lender is not obligated by law to provide an advance warning or notice about the repossession, nor does the lender need to secure an order from the court. As long as the peace is not disturbed and no property is damaged, the lender can send a representative to collect the vehicle used as collateral.

This does not mean that vehicle repossession is automatically done by lenders in Texas. Because repossessions also add to the cost of the lender, the lender often chooses to work with the borrower on payment extensions to avoid the additional repossession costs.
