Pay how and when you want.

Working with Titlelo will fast-track you to a lender with the loan that works best for you. Most Milwaukee title loan lenders will provide options to make payments online or by phone, and some lenders will have a physical location. Even without a bank account, you can still pay some lenders with a money transfer (i.e., Western Union or Moneygram).

Want to make early payments? Great! We can also make sure we get you paired with a lender that does not charge prepayment fees.

Since you do not have to commit to a title lender before receiving a quote, you can consider your options and use Titlelo's experts for guidance. A lender with a competitive rate may not offer the flexibility you need, but starting the process over can be daunting. Titlelo compares lenders, rates, and payment options upfront so you can work with a company that lets you pay how you want.

Collateral loans at your fingertips.

The purpose of a title loan is to get the cash you need right away. Titlelo offers a streamlined web service that gives you access to pre-approval from any device at any time. As long as you have an internet connection, you can access our site to receive a custom match with a lender. Simply fill out the online form and submit for instant pre-qualification.

If you don't have access to the internet, don't worry! Just give us a call (855-341-4500), and we will process everything over the phone. In just minutes, we will have you pre-approved and matched to a reputable lender near Milwaukee. The lender will complete an inspection of your vehicle to finalize the amount of your loan and process it for final approval.

Competitive interest rates for everyone in Milwaukee.

A secured loan, like Milwaukee title loans, is a great option to keep interest rates low, especially for people who may not have the best credit score. An unsecured loan relies on a person's credit history to determine their interest rate, so low credit will often equal a high rate. Since auto title loans are secured by your vehicle, the lender incurs less risk and can then offer lower rates to these applicants (without a credit check).

Even though secured loans usually have lower interest rates, that still doesn't guarantee a competitive rate for your loan. Titlelo works with multiple lenders to ensure you get the very best rates available and loan amounts are based on the value of your vehicle, rather than your credit history. Within seconds, you can be pre-approved for a title loan by entering basic information about yourself and your car.

Refinance your current Milwaukee title loan with Titlelo.

If you have a title loan in Milwaukee but are unhappy with the interest rates or even the customer service, Titlelo can find a new lender to refinance your loan. After learning more about your current loan and vehicle, we will connect you with a lender that will offer better rates and a better experience.

When a loan is refinanced, the old debt is paid off by the new lender and a new loan is created to replace the old one. The new lender will then have rights to the vehicle in case of a default on the loan. The lien on the vehicle (rights to possession in the case of a default) is transferred from the old lender to the new one with the new loan.

Refinancing is a great opportunity to shop for new rates and lenders, but it can be difficult to locate a credible company fast enough to satisfy your needs. Titlelo can match you with a new lender in minutes and lower your rates for good.

Keep your car while you pay your loan.

Getting cash for your title in Milwaukee is a great way to keep "business as usual" while working to support all of your expenses. Even though your car is used as collateral for your loan, you never relinquish possession of it. This is not the case with auto pawn loans, which do require possession of your vehicle while using it as collateral on your loan.

Your mode of transportation is crucial to both your quality of life and financial success. With a title loan, you can continue driving to work and school, pick up and drop off kids, and run errands while managing your loan payments.

Depending on your desired loan amount and preferred payment schedule, you could have the loan paid off within one month. Some may need a little longer, and in those cases, it is even more necessary to retain access to a vehicle while earning income to manage expenses. Whether you wish to pay the loan off quickly or in installments, Titlelo can find a lender with a payment option that’s right for you.

Wisconsin title loan laws

In Wisconsin, the maximum loan amount permitted by title loan laws is $25,000 or up to 50% of the fair market value of the vehicle to be used as collateral. Of course, lenders also have their own limits, and it is rare for them to give borrowers $25,000 for their vehicles. For example, some only allow loans that are worth 30% of the car.

Title loan laws in Wisconsin do not place a cap on the interest rates applied. On an average, lenders in Wisconsin charge around 25% interest.

Requirements:

To secure a title loan in Milwaukee, the only requirements would be a government-issued ID that proves the borrower is at least 18 years of age, as well as the car title.

Loan Extensions:

Wisconsin law allows borrowers to roll over the existing loan into a new term in case the borrower is unable to pay by the end of the original term. For the rollover to happen, the borrower must pay the current interest. This means incurring new interest charges on top of the principal on the new term.

Note that lenders also charge a late fee should the borrower fail to pay on time. The late fee amount if usually 2.75% of the principal.

Repossessions:

Failing to pay for a title loan in Milwaukee, WI would mean that the lender is allowed to repossess the vehicle. However, the lender is required to send the borrower a written notice 20 days before the car is repossessed. This time frame allows the borrower to catch up on the payments missed.

If the borrower is still unable to pay the required amount beyond the 20 days, the lender has the option to sell the car. If the amount for which the vehicle was sold is insufficient to cover the loan, interest, and fees, the lender cannot go after the borrower unless the following scenarios occurred: the vehicle was intentionally damaged or destroyed so that the car’s value is lessened, the vehicle is intentionally hidden from the lender, or the car had a lien while it was being used as a collateral for the loan

If the vehicle was sold for an amount higher than what is owed, the lender should return the surplus amount to the borrower.
