Bad credit title loans in Minden, NV.

A title loan is a great solution for fast cash, but it is not the only option. Payday loans are often considered alongside title loans but are only offered in small amounts (usually up to $500) and require either a post-dated check or pre-authorization for a debit from your bank account. A cash advance is another quick option, but typically carries a high-interest rate and other fees.

Unlike title loans (which require your vehicle as collateral), bank loans can be secured or unsecured, meaning they may not require collateral. In the case of an unsecured loan, your credit history will be the primary factor in your approval and interest rate. Since a title loan is a secured loan, your credit history will not be the primary focus during the approval process and can be one of the best options for those with bad credit or past bankruptcies.

Competitive interest rates for everyone in Minden.

A secured loan, like Minden title loans, is a great option to keep interest rates low, especially for people who may not have the best credit score. An unsecured loan relies on a person's credit history to determine their interest rate, so low credit will often equal a high rate. Since auto title loans are secured by your vehicle, the lender incurs less risk and can then offer lower rates to these applicants (without a credit check).

Even though secured loans usually have lower interest rates, that still doesn't guarantee a competitive rate for your loan. Titlelo works with multiple lenders to ensure you get the very best rates available and loan amounts are based on the value of your vehicle, rather than your credit history. Within seconds, you can be pre-approved for a title loan by entering basic information about yourself and your car.

Refinance your current Minden title loan with Titlelo.

If you have a title loan in Minden but are unhappy with the interest rates or even the customer service, Titlelo can find a new lender to refinance your loan. After learning more about your current loan and vehicle, we will connect you with a lender that will offer better rates and a better experience.

When a loan is refinanced, the old debt is paid off by the new lender and a new loan is created to replace the old one. The new lender will then have rights to the vehicle in case of a default on the loan. The lien on the vehicle (rights to possession in the case of a default) is transferred from the old lender to the new one with the new loan.

Refinancing is a great opportunity to shop for new rates and lenders, but it can be difficult to locate a credible company fast enough to satisfy your needs. Titlelo can match you with a new lender in minutes and lower your rates for good.

No bank account required for Minden title loans.

Unless you receive your funds via direct deposit, there will be no reason to process your bank account information. It is not required to process your loan, and we respect that you may not want to share this information. Titlelo protects customer data, but the safest place for it is to remain with you.

To apply, you will need to provide only basic information about yourself and your vehicle to Titlelo. There may be more documentation required by the lender to process the loan and disburse funds, including a valid government-issued ID, the title to the vehicle, and proof of income. Some lenders will request proof of address, proof of registration, or proof of insurance (but not always).

Employment is not necessary for Minden title loans.

Unlike most installment loans and many short-term loans, you do not have to be actively employed to receive a title loan. Lenders will request documentation proving a source of income, but this can include proof of any of the following:

  • Disability or Social Security
  • Child Support or Alimony
  • Unemployment or Self-Employment

Proof of income will not be necessary to pre-qualify you for a title loan Minden, Nevada. If you are not sure whether you have the proper documentation, you can still receive instant pre-approval online or over the phone with just your contact and vehicle information. We will be able to answer any and all questions you have about the loan process, documentation, or fund disbursement.

Nevada title loan laws

In Nevada, there is no limit on the amount the lender can finance to the borrower for title loans. However, the maximum amount of the loan will be based on the current market value of the borrower’s vehicle. Compared to other states, Nevada laws enable the borrower to have more flexibility in getting a loan as large as needed.

Nevada also doesn’t have any cap on interest rates. This enables the lender to charge as much as the company wants. But generally speaking, the monthly interest rate in Nevada for title loans is 25%, which equals to an APR of 300%.

Requirements:

In Minden, the borrower must present a government-issued ID to the lender. Information about the vehicles is also needed. The lender must also consider the income of the borrower to ensure that payments can be made. As per Nevada 604A, the amount must not exceed 25% of the gross monthly income of the borrower.

Loan Extensions:

The standard loan term for title loans in Minden, NV is 30 days. When the borrower fails to repay the amount due on its maturity date, extensions are available. The lender can roll over or renew the loan. The borrower just needs to pay the interest on the loan, instead of the entire amount, after which a new 30-day term starts again. Note that the rollover is charged with a new interest. In Nevada, title loan laws permit a maximum of six renewal periods.

Repossessions:

Luckily for borrowers in Nevada, the state’s auto repossession law provides a decent level of protection. When the borrower defaults on the loan, the lender must send a written notice to the borrower at least 30 days before the repossession ensues. During the time frame provided, the borrower can catch up on the late payments. But when no payments have been made, or the payment made is not enough, the lender has the right to repossess the vehicle.

The lender can also sell the repossessed vehicle. However, the company needs to send a notice to the borrower 15 days in advance and offer a repayment plan for the loan’s outstanding balance. This amount can include the loan principal, the interest rate, and any repossession fees that the lender incurred.

If the repossessed car is sold and the sales amount is insufficient to cover the unpaid balance, the lender cannot obligate the borrower to pay for the deficiency.
