The purpose of a title loan is to get the cash you need right away. Titlelo offers a streamlined web service that gives you access to pre-approval from any device at any time. The lender will complete an inspection of your vehicle to finalize the amount of your loan and process it for final approval.

Competitive interest rates for everyone in Raleigh.

A secured loan, like Raleigh title loans, is a great option to keep interest rates low, especially for people who may not have the best credit score. An unsecured loan relies on a person's credit history to determine their interest rate, so low credit will often equal a high rate. Since auto title loans are secured by your vehicle, the lender incurs less risk and can then offer lower rates to these applicants (without a credit check).

Even though secured loans usually have lower interest rates, that still doesn't guarantee a competitive rate for your loan. Titlelo works with multiple lenders to ensure you get the very best rates available and loan amounts are based on the value of your vehicle, rather than your credit history. Within seconds, you can be pre-approved for a title loan by entering basic information about yourself and your car.

Still making payments on your car? No problem.

If your car is not yet paid off, but you still would like to take out a title loan, Titlelo can work with you to find a solution. A title loan on a vehicle with an already-active loan would be referred to as a second-lien on the vehicle. A lien is the legal right of possession over property until another party pays off a debt.

Though Titlelo does not recommend this kind of loan, as it is considered a high-risk loan, we want to empower you to make the best decision for your situation. We can discuss all of your options and provide you with our professional recommendations, but at the end of the day, we will connect you with the lender you choose. Titlelo has worked hard to build relationships with lenders that offer these special loans while still maintaining an excellent reputation.

Employment is not necessary for Raleigh title loans.

Unlike most installment loans and many short-term loans, you do not have to be actively employed to receive a title loan. Lenders will request documentation proving a source of income, but this can include proof of any of the following:

  • Disability or Social Security
  • Child Support or Alimony
  • Unemployment or Self-Employment

Proof of income will not be necessary to pre-qualify you for a title loan Raleigh, Mississippi. If you are not sure whether you have the proper documentation, you can still receive instant pre-approval online or over the phone with just your contact and vehicle information. We will be able to answer any and all questions you have about the loan process, documentation, or fund disbursement.

Mississippi title loan laws

In Mississippi, the maximum interest rate that lenders can charge on title loans is 25% per month. As per Mississippi law, the limit for these loans is $2500. However, the maximum amount the borrower can get from a lender will highly depend on the current market value of the borrower’s car.

Requirements:

Title loan borrowers in Raleigh, MS must provide identification information and vehicle details to the lender. Personal info includes the borrower’s full name, date of birth, SSN, and a physical description. The vehicle details include its make, model, mileage, VIN, and the license plate numbers.

Loan Extensions:

Mississippi laws set a standard 30-day term. If the borrower is unable to repay the title loan on the payment due date, the borrower can extend their credit for another 30 days. For an extension or rollover, the borrower needs to pay at least 10% of the principal in addition to paying the interest on the original loan.

Repossessions:

In Raleigh, lenders can repossess the car immediately after the borrower defaults on the title loan. However, the lender still needs to follow the state’s towing regulations.

The law also provides the borrower with the right to cure. This means the borrower can catch up on payments to prevent the vehicle from being repossessed or sold. The lender is obligated to give the borrower a 30-day period after the last due date of the loan, or three days before the vehicle is repossessed.

When repossession ensues, the lender must send a notification via mail stating the amount the borrower needs to settle to prevent the car from being sold. The note should also indicate when the vehicle is going to be auctioned. The amount the borrower needs to pay to get the vehicle back includes the principal loan as well as any outstanding interest and fees the lender incurred.

If the vehicle is sold, the lender can recoup the unpaid balance and fees from the sales amount. Mississippi laws restrict lenders to go after the borrower for any sales deficiency. If the sales amount is insufficient to pay off the outstanding balance on the loan, the lender can’t charge the borrower with the balance.
