We do all the hard work so you don't have to.

Are you looking for a reputable lender near you? Titlelo can narrow down your search in seconds. Tell us a little about yourself, your car, and what you need and we'll take it from there. No endless googling and no questions about quality: we do all the research for you, and we only work with the best title lenders in Mansfield!

Selecting short-term financing of any kind can be overwhelming, and the amount of paperwork can become frustrating. To compare rates, you would need to provide your personal information to each lender you would like to review. In contrast, Titlelo only asks what we need to know, and then we give that information to the lenders that will work best for you. You only have to provide your information once, and Titlelo will take care of the rest.

Mansfield car title loans made simple.

Titlelo has simplified the loan process into two clicks (or taps) on our website. No lengthy documentation, credit reports, or employment check. Submit a short application and receive your pre-approval in seconds.

Titlelo will pair you with a lender that offers the best terms and rates for you. As long as you are at least 18 years of age and have a vehicle title in your name, we can offer options to secure a loan. Titlelo has no restrictions on the age or mileage of the vehicle, and we do not require the VIN for pre-approval. The loan amount will be dependent on the value of the car, rather than credit history, and you can borrow all or some of the approved amount.

Still making payments on your car? No problem.

If your car is not yet paid off, but you still would like to take out a title loan, Titlelo can work with you to find a solution. A title loan on a vehicle with an already-active loan would be referred to as a second-lien on the vehicle. A lien is the legal right of possession over property until another party pays off a debt.

Though Titlelo does not recommend this kind of loan, as it is considered a high-risk loan, we want to empower you to make the best decision for your situation. We can discuss all of your options and provide you with our professional recommendations, but at the end of the day, we will connect you with the lender you choose. Titlelo has worked hard to build relationships with lenders that offer these special loans while still maintaining an excellent reputation.

No car insurance required for auto title loans in Mansfield, IL.

While most states require car insurance for every vehicle on the road, not all do. Even within a state that requires car insurance, an out-of-service vehicle could have had its policy terminated months or even years ago (why insure it if it isn't going anywhere?). If you would like a title loan for a vehicle that is uninsured, Titlelo can find the perfect lender for you.

Lenders have different requirements, including specifications for the vehicle to be pre-qualified for a loan, but Titlelo handles that for you. Instead of searching endlessly for lenders offering title loans for uninsured cars that meet your preferences, simply fill out a quick application and let us be your matchmaker.

Fast cash for any car in Mansfield.

If you have researched title loans before, you know there can be strict requirements for the vehicle: mileage, equity, and age. Many lenders will not consider a car that is more than ten years old, but cars retain value for most of their lives. Titlelo works hard to select quality lenders near Mansfield that have different requirements and loan processes for this very reason. Even if you have an older model, we can still match you with a lender that offers competitive rates without disqualifying your vehicle for age.

Lenders in Illinois may also require additional documentation, such as the title of the vehicle, proof of registration and proof of insurance (but not always). The loan amount will be based on the actual value of the car as determined by the lender's inspection.

Illinois title loan laws

Under the Illinois title loans law, the amount of money a borrower can finance is capped at $4000. However, there’s no guarantee that a creditor will loan the maximum amount. The sum of money the borrower can ask for depends on different variables. These include the borrower’s income, the value of the car, the requested amount of the loan, and the terms of the loan.

The monthly payment on a title loan can’t go over 50% of the borrower’s gross monthly income. The borrower can pay off the loan earlier than the due date to avoid incurring additional interest charges. When the balance is paid off, the lender is required to release liens and return the title within 24 hours. If the last payment is a check, the lender can wait for the check to be cleared for up to five business days.

Requirements:

All borrowers in Mansfield, IL must have a physical copy of the title of the vehicle to take out a loan. The borrower must also present personal details like full legal name, contact number, and current address, as well as vehicle information like its make, model, and mileage. The lender will also need the borrower to present a check stub from an employer or any proof to verify the latter’s income.

Loan Extensions:

Before repossession, the borrower has the chance to catch up on missed payments or pay off the unpaid balance. Catching up on payments is only possible if 30% of the original loan balance has already been paid off.

Under certain situations, the borrower has the option to refinance the title loan. The borrower needs to have paid at least 20% of the original loan amount for the refinance to take place. The lender has the right to upsurge the interest rate for the new loan. Additional fees may also appear on the new loan agreement.

Repossessions:

If the borrower is unable to repay the title loan according to the terms of the agreement, the lender could take away the vehicle. Repossession also happens when the borrower violates the terms of the loan agreement. The lender may sell the car and get the unpaid loan balance from the sale of the car.

The lender has the right to take out any reasonable fees related to the repossessing of the vehicle. What’s left of the sale money will be given to the borrower. If the amount of the car is insufficient to cover the outstanding balance, the lender can sue the borrower for the unpaid balance of the loan.

The lender is required to inform the borrower that the vehicle is about to be repossessed. This provides the borrower time to clean out all personal belongings inside the vehicle.
