Competitive interest rates for everyone in Rockland.

A secured loan, like Rockland title loans, is a great option to keep interest rates low, especially for people who may not have the best credit score. An unsecured loan relies on a person's credit history to determine their interest rate, so low credit will often equal a high rate. Since auto title loans are secured by your vehicle, the lender incurs less risk and can then offer lower rates to these applicants (without a credit check).

Even though secured loans usually have lower interest rates, that still doesn't guarantee a competitive rate for your loan. Titlelo works with multiple lenders to ensure you get the very best rates available and loan amounts are based on the value of your vehicle, rather than your credit history. Within seconds, you can be pre-approved for a title loan by entering basic information about yourself and your car.

Refinance your current Rockland title loan with Titlelo.

If you have a title loan in Rockland but are unhappy with the interest rates or even the customer service, Titlelo can find a new lender to refinance your loan. After learning more about your current loan and vehicle, we will connect you with a lender that will offer better rates and a better experience.

When a loan is refinanced, the old debt is paid off by the new lender and a new loan is created to replace the old one. The new lender will then have rights to the vehicle in case of a default on the loan. The lien on the vehicle (rights to possession in the case of a default) is transferred from the old lender to the new one with the new loan.

Refinancing is a great opportunity to shop for new rates and lenders, but it can be difficult to locate a credible company fast enough to satisfy your needs. Titlelo can match you with a new lender in minutes and lower your rates for good.

Still making payments on your car? No problem.

If your car is not yet paid off, but you still would like to take out a title loan, Titlelo can work with you to find a solution. A title loan on a vehicle with an already-active loan would be referred to as a second-lien on the vehicle. A lien is the legal right of possession over property until another party pays off a debt.

Though Titlelo does not recommend this kind of loan, as it is considered a high-risk loan, we want to empower you to make the best decision for your situation. We can discuss all of your options and provide you with our professional recommendations, but at the end of the day, we will connect you with the lender you choose. Titlelo has worked hard to build relationships with lenders that offer these special loans while still maintaining an excellent reputation.

No car insurance required for auto title loans in Rockland, WI.

While most states require car insurance for every vehicle on the road, not all do. Even within a state that requires car insurance, an out-of-service vehicle could have had its policy terminated months or even years ago (why insure it if it isn't going anywhere?). If you would like a title loan for a vehicle that is uninsured, Titlelo can find the perfect lender for you.

Lenders have different requirements, including specifications for the vehicle to be pre-qualified for a loan, but Titlelo handles that for you. Instead of searching endlessly for lenders offering title loans for uninsured cars that meet your preferences, simply fill out a quick application and let us be your matchmaker.

Titlelo is on your side.

Wisconsin title loan laws

In Wisconsin, the maximum loan amount permitted by title loan laws is $25,000 or up to 50% of the fair market value of the vehicle to be used as collateral. Of course, lenders also have their own limits, and it is rare for them to give borrowers $25,000 for their vehicles. For example, some only allow loans that are worth 30% of the car.

Title loan laws in Wisconsin do not place a cap on the interest rates applied. On an average, lenders in Wisconsin charge around 25% interest.

Requirements:

To secure a title loan in Rockland, the only requirements would be a government-issued ID that proves the borrower is at least 18 years of age, as well as the car title.

Loan Extensions:

Wisconsin law allows borrowers to roll over the existing loan into a new term in case the borrower is unable to pay by the end of the original term. For the rollover to happen, the borrower must pay the current interest. This means incurring new interest charges on top of the principal on the new term.

Note that lenders also charge a late fee should the borrower fail to pay on time. The late fee amount if usually 2.75% of the principal.

Repossessions:

Failing to pay for a title loan in Rockland, WI would mean that the lender is allowed to repossess the vehicle. However, the lender is required to send the borrower a written notice 20 days before the car is repossessed. This time frame allows the borrower to catch up on the payments missed.

If the borrower is still unable to pay the required amount beyond the 20 days, the lender has the option to sell the car. If the amount for which the vehicle was sold is insufficient to cover the loan, interest, and fees, the lender cannot go after the borrower unless the following scenarios occurred: the vehicle was intentionally damaged or destroyed so that the car’s value is lessened, the vehicle is intentionally hidden from the lender, or the car had a lien while it was being used as a collateral for the loan

If the vehicle was sold for an amount higher than what is owed, the lender should return the surplus amount to the borrower.
