This is an important detail that catches many borrowers off guard.<br \/><br \/>Idaho repossession laws do require that any repossession be carried out peacefully. The lender or their agent cannot trespass, threaten you, or use force to take the vehicle. However, once the cure period has passed, they can act quickly and without warning.<br \/><br \/>After repossession, the lender may charge reasonable costs for towing, storage, and preparation for sale.
